MORNININGBIRD
Morningbird lay in the nursery. Her tiny pink nose twitched as she slept in her nest in the FoestCla nursery. Her black and white pelt silky and smooth. The young queens bright green eyes closed and with her white tail tip laying over her nose and closed eyes. Morningbirds chin rested lightly on her tiny white paws. She still looked like an apprentice, by her size and only lightly muscled body. Morningbird could easily pass as only a young apprentice. Even though she was still young, there was no chance that she was going to even grow anymore.
Close to no thoughts whent threw her mind. Only one. Her family. How she had no one else left. All her kits where dead. About her brother, that she had never even liked at all, had left, well, more like just disappeared. Morningbird had no idea what had happened, but she was sure that he was still alive, just living life as a rouge. Then, Dawnlily. Her dark cream sister, that had died, from a sickness she refused to even try to treat. All her family gone, all in less then five moons. Hollowclaw, her father who had died from falling into a Gully, and her mother, who had died from grief. Then, there was her mate, then her kits. She had had three, but they all died.
Her life hadn't been as normal as mist cats had. She had not trained with her friends, not that she even had any. The only cat Morningbird really had was her sister, Dawnlily, who had died moons ago. So, there was no one really left for Morningbird to talk with, or to even socialize with. She pretty much lived in the nursery. Exept for when she needed to go out. Like to get prey or something else important. Morningbird was alone, that was all she was, alone in the world.
Morningbirds tail slowly unrapped from over her small body. As her emerald green eyes flickered open to the sight of the rising sun. The sight flooded into the den as Morningbird sat up wrapping her black and white tipped tail around her tiny white paws. Her shy eyes just watched out of the den with slight curiority as she sat. Morningbird noticed a cat walk inside. Her green eyes quickly fell down to her paws. She didn't like to look cats in the eyes.
