The morning was a cool one, bringing about fog that wrapped around one's legs and limited their vision. Now the Rebels were slowly emerging from their nests, ready for a morning hunt; only to be disappointed to find that there would be no hunt until the fog cleared. Among these waking cats was Concept, a blue -gray she-cat belonging to the Rebel side--well, more or less. The Rebel didn't like being tied down, so she often disappeared for days-on-end. But she had become better about doing that in the late. Carefully, the she cat slid out of her nest amongst the tree roots and into the fern clearing. Today could be a good day, as long as the voices didn't kick in anytime soon. Concept was quite looking forward to a day during which she could be completely alone, without the voices. She never did like what they said. Her paws carried her nimbly over to a clump of ferns, where she could sit down and block out the world around her. It was still noisy, however, and hunger gnawed at her insides. Perhaps she could've tried hunting first. But with this weather, it was unlikely that she would find anything anyway.

Tide was still sleeping while all of this happened. He had had a good sleep, and his usually itchy long fur felt smooth and silky on his skin for once. He would get it cut, except for to hide his multitude of ugly scars. It would not do to let those be seen. Today, he would hunt, and after, he would explain the concept of the revolution to the other Rebels. They had to understand exactly how to create a great future for all. Stepping into a puddle, he stepped back, and admiringly gazed at his own reflection, the face of a leader. The face of a strong revolutionary that would one day change the whole forest as any cat knew it. Then, he saw Concept a short distance away. While they never had met before, he decided he would try to befriend her, for the revolution needed every cat it could get. After all, he was going to change the forest and all of it's societal systems. Walking over, he thought about what he would say. "Hey, my name's Tide." He blurted it out awkwardly, just then realizing how awkward what he did was. And with his self conciousness gnawing at him, he lightly blushed.
Bramble slid out of the den in Rebel territory. He had a small surprise, as he looked around. There was a layer of mist that covered the ground where he walked, his paws where completely covered by the layer of mist. Bramble couldn't see his own paws, but also, he had very limited vision in all directions that he looked. It was so milky looked. Everything that he could see, was covered in a layer of faded white, that was, of course, mist. It was everywhere. From under his feet, to his left, his right, and then behind him, the den he had just entered from. Bramble couldn't believe that it was just so misty outside.
He stood there, for a great deal of time. Just looking around. The mist was slowly starting to thin out. But not by much. It was still hard to see. Though, Bramble could see the faint outline of his paws on the ground. It was still a milky color, and the brown was almost undetectable. Hr was close to lifting up a paw to his face to make sure it was still there. But that would make him look like an idiot. Bramble knew they where still there, and needed to get on with the day. No more waisting time siting around making sure his paws where still where he had left them last night.
Bramble needed to get on with what he needed to do. Whatever that may be. The day was still young, and Bramble was sitting around like a lump. It wasn't like him at all to do that. He needed to get up and do something that was actually productive. That was more like him. Oddly nimble for his size, but being part WindClan helped, Bramble carried himself across the soft ground. The ground was still slightly damp from the morning dew that collected on it every morning. His paws where quick for such a large cat. He was part ThunderClan, so he had a strong build that was just a little bit bulky.
"Hey, my name's Tide."

Bramble stopped right in front of a large fern bush. He knew pretty much every Rebel. Not personally, but by sent, or he knew their voices. Bramble just couldn't seem to put his paw on who it was. A little frustrated that he couldn't find it out by thinking, Bramble looked around hid head lifted high. Then he saw who it was. The one who had said it was named Tide, obviously. But the one he was calling out to, it wasn't detected to him, it was to another cat. But what cat? That was what stumped Bramble. Biting his lip, he peered over the fern bush as quietly as he could. Bramble knew who it was know. [/blockquote][/justify]

Concept lifted her blue-gray head, certain that she had heard a voice. Yes, she must had; for the words hung in the silence, still awaiting an answer. Even so, the foggy cloud prevented her from seeing the speaker. This made her severely uncomfortable. "Hey, my name's Tide." Bright yellow eyes probed the swirling mass of white around her. Nothing. It was nothing. This almost-darkness was unable to be controlled, and that scared her. Concept's haunches lifted, as well as her body from it's sitting position; every hair on her pelt bristled. "Are you one of Them?" she called out, eyes wide. If it was The Voices, they would have to fight tooth-and-claw to gain control of her. No one Voice would overtake her. At least, not in this life. "If you are, you can't take me! she hissed. "I won't allow it!" In a nutshell., the she-cat sounded positively mad. Then, a twig snapped, and she spun around to see a white cat watching her. It was, of course, Tide. Concept didn't know that though, because she never took the time to learn the names of her fellow Rebels. The crazed expression on her face faded when she saw who she was dealing with. In fact, she knew she could take him if it came to violence. "Hello, Tide," Concept said sweetly. Her attitude had changed drastically. "You...scared me a little. That's all."

"Are you one of Them? If you are, you can't take me! she hissed. "I won't allow it!" Tide was a little shocked, but didn't show it. It would never do for such a great revolutionary as he to let anyone see his emotions. He simply stared at her, perhaps a bit questioningly. He wondered if this cat would ever be able to help with his plot to take out Forest Clan, after all, she SEEMED unstable mentally, however, crazed cats could be useful too.... He simply waited for her to calm down. "Hello, Tide, You...scared me a little. That's all." Tide smiled back, though it was somewhat forced, because he didn't know how to deal with this cat. "Surprised you? I'm so sorry, I was just trying to be friendly. I'll make sure I don't do it again." he said this with a sincere conviction in his voice, that he didn't truly feel, but it was quite convincing nontheless.

"Surprised you? I'm so sorry, I was just trying to be friendly. I'll make sure I don't do it again." the tom had mewed. Concept tilted her head, searching him for some sign of insincerity. There was nothing she could see that led her not to trust him for the time being. In fact, he seemed much more tolerant of her than other cats she had encountered. How could someone this messed up not trust him? Concept chuckled nervously and swept a leaf away with her tail. "I-it's-" the she-cat stole a glance over her shoulder-"It's ok. I mean, hello...yeah. Hello! Ha-ha-hi!" Stumbling slightly, she took a step forward. Concept had no clue where she even was, quite frankly. This new appearance had downright befuddled her. All of the mistrust had faded along with her awareness of her current location. But like always, she stumbled over her words like water over stones in a creek.
This brought Bramble great amusement. This cat must be very paranoid if she was talking like this. It amused Bramble very greatly. He wondered if she would say anything else that would make him laugh. Bramble should have known, because she did.
"If you are, you can't take me! I won't allow it!"
Bramble had to practically hold his mouth shut so he didn't burst out laughing right that second. Yup, she was defiantly paranoid, and didn't know the difference between a real cat, and her imagination. Bramble couldn't wait to hear what the cat she was talking to had to say about the she-cats paranoia. The cat, who was named Tide, almost seemed to be as confused as he was. Even if he didn't show it in his face, or in his words.
Then, she seemed to realize that he was not just a figment of her own thoughts. But, she did seem to thus strongly of her imagination. That they where going to take her some place that Bramble didn't really know about. The way the she-cat spoke, it seemed like she really didn't like what she thought Tide had been. Like they where the worst things that you could ever even think of. Well, to her, maybe they where the worst thing you could ever think of. Maybe she didn't even think of them, because she was afraid they where going to take her away or something.
"Hello, Tide. You...scared me a little. That's all."
Know, Bramble was getting vaguely bored by the conversation that they where getting into. It was so, well, not interesting at all. They just talked. Or, they where going to start "just talking" and that was going to be when Bramble would turn around and walk away. But maybe it would get even more interesting. Hopefully there would be something that would intrege Bramble, or he would need to make it interesting himself.
"Surprised you? I'm so sorry, I was just trying to be friendly. I'll make sure I don't do it again."
Know this, this just about made Bramble go to sleep. Why where these cats so boring. He just wanted to go and pick a fight with a clan cat just to go and keep himself from falling asleep. Ya, if he was going to make this any more interesting, he was going to need to do it right know, or he really was going to sleep.
"I-it's-It's ok. I mean, hello...yeah. Hello! Ha-ha-hi!"
Know, this was the time for Bramble to break in and make things more interesting. Slowly, the large tom stepped in front of the two cats. His pelt faded and looked more grey, then dark brown. But, his green eyes shining with deviousness as he stood there. "Know, what are you two doing out here?" he asked with a glint of a sneer across his lips.

"I-it's-It's ok. I mean, hello...yeah. Hello! Ha-ha-hi!" "Know, what are you two doing out here?"
A strange cat burst in uninvited. Though he didn't show it, he was sorely tempted to smack this stranger over the head, simply for his lack of respect. of course, his body couldn't show it, it never did. Tide was a great liar.
Of course, this new cat wasn't clan, so he was not an enemy to the revolution... that much was clear. Rather, he could attempt to coerce this new cat into joining his plot to...eradicate forest clan....
"Oh hello there." Tide Mewed respectfully. "I was just having a little chat with my friend here." He stared closely at Bramble's face trying to spy a revealing twitch, a blink.

Suddenly, another cat stepped through the ferns, causing the she-cat to start violently. It was a Rebel, thank the Voices, but she still looked like she could've shredded him then and there. Concept fixed her sulfuric glare onto Bramble. It was made very clear that this cat didn't much care for surprises. "Can I help you?" she hissed murderously. Every hair along her spine was pricked, ready for battle. Yet another mood swing had come to pass; and Concept didn't look to happy about that, either. What she really wanted was to be left alone, with no one to bother her. But she knew that wouldn't happen anytime soon. Those two toms obviously wanted something, and if a rebel wants something, they usually get it. She would just have to wait. Meanwhile, the fog was clearing. This meant that Concept could see Tide and Bramble even better now. So, that was why she hadn't been able to see Tide: his fur was pure white, and the consistancy of snow. As for Bramble, he was tough-looking, and his pelt a muddy brown color. Both had some serious advantage in the muscle category. But hey, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Concept was already plotting both of their demise.
